Naemi Joy’s musical career started with the violin at the age of six, where she went on to play in several orchestras throughout her school life. When she was 12 years old, she watched “Sister Act 2” and realized her enthusiasm for singing. Fast forward a few years later, and now with a professional vocal education (B.A.), she sang in several choirs in San Diego, California, Lübeck, Germany and Sydney, Australia.
Throughout the subsequent years Naemi, now as a solo artist, gained stage experience worldwide, and took part in several studio productions and projects like “Classic meets Pop” (2015) or “Christmas Gospel Night mit Chris Lass”(2015). In 2012 Naemi started a collaboration with Thomas Lemmer and Motif. As a result of the collaboration with Motif, she released her first single “One more time”. For Thomas Lemmer’s album “Still” (2013) and “Still Remixed” (2014) she wrote and recorded 5 songs. “White Room” and “Dive”, two of those songs have been aired on several radio stations such as N-Joy, Klassik Radio or NDR.
In 2015, Naemi Joy finished her BA in Popular Music & Education (Pop-Vocals) at “Institut für Musik” in Osnabrück, with her Bachelorthesis being on the Topic of Stage Performance.
In May 2016 Naemi Joy released her first Solo-EP „Never Stop“ (Singer/Songwriter Pop) which she went on to touring throughout Germanys and Denmarks Living Rooms.
She’s been working as a wedding singer and Background vocalist since the age of 15.
